That's surprisingly great quality for a RealmCrafter character! Can't wait to see the rest of the bundle.

Good job but just a little reminder and tips for characters in RCS and RCCE:
_ 2000 tris max _ texture 512x512 max _ 20 bones max _ not too much animation key _ save it in .b3d
At the end the actor file must weight less than 200ko! If not, you will have the famous RC loading lag.

If not, we will have the famous RC loading lag. Really difficult have a decent character with 2000tris and 20 bones the mesh have 3800 tris and 65 bones. The animation are made with Mixamo and if set 25 bones (25 are min) give error when autorig. i Test character and not give me problem. Now Update first post with download can test it and give me feedback and if is possible i can try to optimize in future. Sorry for time lost for release but real life take me many time in latest days.

That's the real challenge, if you test with one character in local, sure you won't have any problem. That's not only my experience and opinion everybody who has made a game with RC: Sired, Cysis, Siramoida, Bytor and many more will tell you. Actor file MUST be less than 200ko
A few months ago, I have made some network test with RCCE: _ 30 users connected (about 15 max at the same time) _ 3 zones _ My characters have less than 1800 tris and 20 bones (one texture 512*512 for the body and 1 texture 256*256 for the head) _ I host the server on my PC RCCE handle it "quite" good (but I have some lags, server bugs and other strange things...), I think that it's the maximum that RC can manage with a home connection, the next time I will test with a dedicated server.

The load lag. I remember this. What a pain.
There is a way around it. But you will need to store animations on the client side. Not a great thing to do but it works. Everything terrier had said is all solid advice and perfect guide lines. However, the load lag happens more so during the animation extractions. Of course this all boils down to how many animations you have on one rig. If your using Mixamo like I did. You will need to edit the source to extract and append the animations as needed in the animations.bb. And be sure to strip the model down to no animations or just use the basics. Walk,Idle,run..
Naturally , if you follow terriers' advice and keep the size way down you wont see much lag even with an animation set attached Mixamo animations tend to bloat the file very quickly.
Stay away from Mix auto rig. 65 bones is complete nonsense. I assume you have bones for fingers and small detail like that. I suggest to weigh out your priorities. No need for all the hand bones. The camera is never that close anyway.

Poking around a little. Seeing what people are up to and to catch up on RC. Tried to download the pack with the source to no avail. Hopefully I can get my hands on it. Time will tell.
