Hi,
I want you all to remember that I do work and have a family which comes before fixing RCS. I will do my best to fix things as fast as I can. I only had a few hours on Saturday and Sunday to work on bug fixes. With that said I will list my system specs and then list the bugs and fixes I have experienced on my system so far.
Windows 10 64 bit 16gb ram Nvidia GTX 1080 4gb GDDR5 memory (PCIe) Asrock motherboard (wish I had the money to get the Gigabyte motherboard I wanted lol) Sata 3 500gb hard drive (I want a SSD so bad) 15-20 yr old flat panel monitor with only 2000 to 1 color ratio .2 ms refresh rate Digital cable for monitor 2 speakers on board sound card
Fixes as follows: Fixed- radar not showing up in game Fixed- Imported objects not showing correct texture in game Fixed- in game map showing wrong image
Added- x, z coordinates of exact location of player character displayed on screen
Currently working on portal issues

If you can fix the "player continuing walk animation when meeting obstructions" bug that was actually fixed in 1.0 and somehow re-introduced in 2.0, I would be eternally grateful. Great to see you all here (especially siredblood, ) and glad to see effort still going into this old engine. Thank you, unseenghost, and all of you who have put your own personal time into fixing this for everyone whom Solstar cheated. <3 I wish to do SOMETHING to honor one of RCCE's most influential founders, UUICEO, who contributed an extensive amount of work to this engine before passing away late last year, so here I am, for better or worse, in hopes that I might be useful. I miss you, Robert. I miss our long conversations about scripting at 2am. I miss having you as my teacher. Like a father, you were my mentor and my friend, and this community just isn't the same without you. :,( Listening to "Fallen" by Volbeat tonight, in your memory, Quack. Rest in peace, my friend.

Great work unseen good to see stuff happening with RC still. OMG! RIP UNICEO you will be missed, thank you for everything you have given your time for. This has made my day a bit sadder. I wish that Solstar could of at least given the community 1 thing which was the forum or at least everything on it. It was sad to see the work by so many people just be delete. There is a little hole in my heart that RCS sits in and some days just want to go back to that time.

tazco : Glad to see you here still. Thanks, The community may never be what it was but the fact it still exists is great and shows the love there was/is for this engine.

You're most welcome. Yeah, it's strange how we all have such affection for a broken, outdated piece of abandonware. It's still fun for me, though, as it must be for everyone still here. I never really hoped to complete a game myself, anyway, I just enjoy playing with the technology. Is there a better version than RCCE 2.0 yet?

Is it the same FastExtends version we downloaded before RCCE went down, or have things been done to the source since, and if so, where can I find said version? I purchased an FE license as soon as Julien started adding it to the code. (was it 2013? Wow, how time flies .) I then tested it and convinced Corey and Robert to use his (very nicely running build with bumpmapped water ) as the basis for the original RCCE source. He does great things with the source. Edit: Nm, found it here: realmcrafter.boards.net/thread/73/download-rcce-2

this is from the Realmcrafter France fourm. Hi all, Here you will find the latest version of RCCE 2.0 modified (the one I use for my project). This version was designed by our team and includes part of the Fast-Extension library (DirectX9). All these changes were made with the help of the old team: UUICEO, Clan-fd, Zafari, Cysis145 and myself (Terrier). INSTALLATION------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- Download the latest version of RCCE 2.0: Version RCCE 2.0 (200mo) WARNING: WHEN CREATING A MAP YOU MUST CREATE A PLAN OF WATER (And hide it under your map if you do not need it) Yes its that one realmcrafter.boards.net/thread/73/download-rcce-2heres the link if you want to know more info about it go to that link realmcrafter.1fr1.net/t38-telechargement-rcce-version-2-0

Yeah, thanks, I downloaded it. The creation date on the client and server are the same as the most recent ones that I've been using since 2015, though.

Good morning everyone, sorry to not post in awhile, but life has happened for awhile and a lot was going on. I'm working a lot currently now, but will resume work on RealmCrafter again. I told everyone awhile back I will not let Realmcrafter die reguardless of built on directx 7. I will also be porting it over to DBPro and maybe C++. Unfortionately I don't have any updates to post, but will keep everyone posted again.
It's good to be back, UnseenGhost
