Fast Extensions does support dx9, but BlitzBasic uses dx7. Must be backwards compatible Fast-Extension library (DirectX9)? it uses directx9, what? this is from the Realmcrafter France fourm. Hi all, Here you will find the latest version of RCCE 2.0 modified (the one I use for my project). This version was designed by our team and includes part of the Fast-Extension library (DirectX9). All these changes were made with the help of the old team: UUICEO, Clan-fd, Zafari, Cysis145 and myself (Terrier). What are you asking exactly? Fast Extensions is not being developed anymore, is there any way I can get a hold of it and it still work for me. I didn't have a chance to buy it back then. Of course i don't want to get in trouble for having it since i didn't buy it.
Also, what version of Blitz3D used to compile?

The FastExtends library is included in the RCCE source code, as far as I know.

On another note: I have tried to work with the gubbins program and it isn't saving things. Has anyone been able to fix it? I do have the source to it, but haven't had time to look into it

Good morning everyone, sorry to not post in awhile, but life has happened for awhile and a lot was going on. I'm working a lot currently now, but will resume work on RealmCrafter again. I told everyone awhile back I will not let Realmcrafter die reguardless of built on directx 7. I will also be porting it over to DBPro and maybe C++. Unfortionately I don't have any updates to post, but will keep everyone posted again. It's good to be back, UnseenGhost i have started a project, medieval dreams. im still interested in rc too but taking my own direction with my project. its openb3d/blitzmax its open source on github. like if we could share participation on something. i might not though, gotta focus life, conflicting. instead of focusing on making something for everyone to make a game, i'm focusing on a game players can create servers and characters.

I will also be porting it over to DBPro and maybe C++. I had previously considered porting it to GLBasic because it is a BASIC, like Blitz and DBPro, but compiles to C++ and even allows inline C++. It's also 64-bit, unlike DBPro. I had also considered the new, 64-bit version of BlitzMax, bmx-ng, as it also compiles to C++, but GLBasic seemed like a better time investment because of being able to use inline C++. That being said, I haven't actually started that project yet. I'm more interested in trying to fix up RealmCrafter Pro at present.

They compile to C++, but don't do inline C++. Also, GLBasic has been being developed by one guy over the course of 20 years. It's rock solid, but it's also way more "indie" than DBP and Blitz products, so I don't get your point.

Just wanted to mention BlitzMax does allow interfacing with C blitzmax.org/docs/en/language/interfacing_with_c/
